Hence, Ma Po tofu means a dish made by an old woman whose face was pockmarked. Its spicy and hot flavour comes from the pepper powder, a very important spice used in the Chuan cuisine. The other version of the Ma Po Tofu, the milky Tofu, is filled with brownish grounded beef and sliced green onion.

In winter season, the Chinese people eat a lot of Wontons, an authentic Chinese food. It has become a custom to eat this dish from the Tang Dynasty (618-907). The most used shape of a simple Wonton is a triangle, which is similar to the Italian tortellini. It is said that the origin of this dish was 1800 years ago, dumplings are one of the very old traditional Chinese food that you can mainly see in the northern parts of China. The Cantonese pronunciation of the Chinese food Chow Mein, means stir-fried noodles. The general items that are used in the dish are vegetables, meat (ranging from chicken, beef, shrimp or pork) along with onion and celery. For making this great dish, you need to boil the noodles in hot water for some time. After they become cool, you can fry those along with the other ingredients.
